On my first playthrough, just by doing all the quests stealthily and exploring, I ended up with enough praxis kits to nearly unlock everything. There was only like 3 augs that I didn't max out. There's no reason to limit yourself when there's so much praxis to go around

Come on guys, you can't silence the Sniper or Battle rifle in DXMD.

A good replacement is a Combat Rifle with a Silencer, 4x scope (like you said, most of DXMD is short-range), Semi-Auto unlocked, and loaded with AP rounds. This will take out Gold Masks in one head shot, despite the Silencer reducing damage.

I need to check to see if you can have two optics assigned to the CR to be swapped around, if so, then its an even more versatile weapon, because then you can swap out the scope for Reflex, remove the silencer, and go full auto if stealth is blown.
