𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲
Somewhere in a huge fallow field in rural Sweden lies a house that time forgot. It is barely visible from the street anymore and is starting to form a backdrop for the excessive overgrowth that has already occurred around all sides of the house. Nature is clearly reclaiming and taking over the marks that the owners of this house have once left. But despite this, everything is still frozen in time as it was once left behind. What exactly happened to the family, where they went and why the house is in this state of neglect, remains a question for us to which we unfortunately cannot find an answer. Let's take you on another surprising adventure in Northern Europe.

Loving Sweden! Simple, beautiful cottage. Handmade items, clean lined furniture. My favorites are the touches of modern in the pitcher and glasses with red/ blue circles in the kitchen, hanging red/white lamp over the table mixed with the bright red farm chairs. Life like this is really all we need. It all goes to decay in the end. Sarah does an excellent job with the camera. I like your gentle turns. I don’t feel like I’m getting whiplash! ♥️✌🏼

Loved the peaceful serenity of the place. I’m sure the owners led a happy life. Thank you Maureno.

I absolutely love how you can go from the rich, ornate, aristocratic palaces to humble farm cottages, with the same class, demeanor and appreciation! You are unassuming and humble which are such admirable qualities!! Looking forward to seeing more of Sweden!!

Your videos are as if we’re there with you because I find myself asking you questions and then I stop, look around, and hope no one saw me TALKING TO MYSELF!! Thinking I was actually asking you questions as you walked through this place . Oh! Hi SARA !! You’re brave because I wonder if you ever come a pond someone in the abandoned places !😱
I love your accent and love Belgium . Why are the taxes so high when you want to sell a house or residence? Perhaps Sweden doesn’t want people selling to outsiders?
It’s a Catch 22 ! Or a no win situation. Very sad unless someone explains why to me?
Keep up the GREAT WORK! You’re an AMAZING AND AMAZING 23 year old ! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOUR PARENTS FOR RAISING SUCH A GREAT AND SENSITIVE YOUNG MAN!
Stay SAFE AND HEALTHY AND BE CAREFUL AROUND THOSE SCORPIONS! ICK! YUK! Scary creatures and NASTY! ❤️👍🙏😱👏💪

Welcome to Sweden!
This will be so nice to follow you in this series Sweden.
I live between (Höga Kusten) high Coast Sweden. Sweden is an elongated country and nature shifts from lowlands to high mountains, mountains at the top. Interesting to see what you will show about empty houses deserted here and history. Well met

Amazed they just farm around a homestead and eliminate all roadways in…. I am happy that they farm the land.. inside the barn looks ok.. so over-grown.. amazing the clothes hanging…. All cobwebs.., wow 1982…. They lived a wonderful simple farmers life. Reminded me of my life and the home I grew up in which was a simple German descendant home in ruralAmerica. Thank you for this heart warming explore.

I really can’t get over how nature has not been too harsh in this beautiful home which supports so much beauty as you portray! Thank you it was well worth the journey

The reason you find linens in trunks/chests is that that was what they were made for, to hold sheets and blankets ie linen chest or blanket box. The little box often found on the inside was usually for holding candles.

Sweden❤️🙏 How wonderful! I was getting very disappointed with France & how they had sooo very many one of a kind, a gemstone 💎 castles & mansions & no one was appreciating or trying to save them😞 Each episode I became more heart broken 💔 Even with the purchase tax so very high in Sweden, I hope that you find more that are being restored, repurposed & loved once again! Such a waste of craftsmanship to let these masterpieces become decayed & destroyed!
This was a simple, humble, practical & functional house for a farm family! The kids must have had long walks, in the cold winter, to get to school!!! You can just imagine their simple life on this farm👍 Thank you, Maureno & Sarah for trekking sooo very far to share this experience with us! I truly loved it ❤️

The blanket chests were hand painted and passed down to a bride. In USA they are also referred to as Hope Chests. I think we all miss Remon. Hope to see more of this beautiful countryside. Thank you!

We love your videos. We always gather in our home to watch your new videos. We miss Remon. We are sad to see that he has not been in many of your videos and your intro does not have him. Is he no longer part of your video. It will make us really sad if he has left the channel. We enjoy watching him and you exploring the abandoned places. Please let us know if he will be in the future part of your explorations.
