Wow! I've been a NY'er until 2001, but never did times sq. First video I've seen of it too. Nice to see some tips and behind the scenes. I always wished I could view it from the comfort of one of the office buildings above. Never wanted to deal with the discomforts at ground level. Bet that would be cool with food drink & friends.

thank you for posting this video. I am from london and visiting nyc for
nye ALONE! ..I have so many questions...initially i was considering to
stand in times sq for 12 hours...yeah I need to hit the spa in my hotel
first....which is why i am looking for a hotel that has a rooftop
bar/view of times square..any tips for which hotels i can check out? so
im not going times square but am hoping that my hotel is close enough
to it...i was wondering is there anything to do in new york after
midnight? i was thinking of staying out all night so i could save money
on my hotel booking and just book my hotel from the 1st of jan
onwards...i know there are some clubs that have nye parties till 3
am...but this isnt late enough...i need to be occupied till daylight
then i can start doing touristy things...i think sleep is going to be
impossible during this trip. i fly back on the 2nd haha...so i am tryna
squeeze in everything in on 31st and 1st. thank you in advance :}
