I've been on this attraction with my parents 4⃣ times from childhood-adulthood. In fact, I still have the pin in the shadow box. Okay i have a scary story about this ride! So me and my dad went to Disneyland last summer. It was for our summer break. My mom took my brother and sister to the Grand Canyon as a little girls trip. My dad felt bad that i didn’t get to go and have fun so he took me to Disneyland to have a little father son vacation. Anyways we went on this ride. This was our first ride of the day. It began normal like the outdoor loop was playing and the clock parade was going on. But when we got inside things got strange. EVERYTHING was broken! No music and ALL of the animatronics were OFF! That might sound scary but i am about to go deeper into it. Once we got to the Netherlands part of the ride the boats finally stopped. The ride finally reached it break down point. So we were stuck there for about 30 minutes and there was cast members speaking through the intercoms to remain seated. And we finally start moving again. When we got to the Mexico part of the ride everything SUDDENLY turned on!! All the animatronics and the music. It ALL came on in an instant! We literally thought those dolls were about to come out and murder us! It was so scary that we didn’t do any other rides for the next 3 hours after that! Thats how terrifying it was! So yeah remember small world is a classic but it will do creepy things sometimes!
