This story really reminds me of a Kirby game



- a normal snail girl doing her thing runs into a strange star that falls from the sky, alongside it comes an adorable looking "space snail"


They become friends and go on adventures. however the longer the snail was on her home planet, the larger and more unstable her friend became. And so she used her magical scissors to try to cut him down into alot of smaller pieces. Only then is the true horror of this cute - if massive - snail as a literal eldritch embodiment of all things soft and shelled emerges as it reforms as a kaiju. Then using the star it came with she was able to actually cut him down to size and literally decapitate him - this caused his body to dissolve back into astral essense and what remained of him to return to her, only he was so weakened he fell appart and became art, by which she remembered him by from then on

Holy crap this MV goes through the plot of an entire cartoon episode! Love how Snailchan clearly cares for the creature, even trying to make it smaller again so things can be back to normal, but it just keeps eating other snails and growing bigger, the the point where she finally accepts it's too much of a threat no matter how much she loves it, and puts the safety of others over her own connections to it, destroying it with that star thing she's found from the start.

From what I understand the star vial thingy that Snail-chan had through out the song crashed down WITH the snail creature,
this means that it could be the creature's equivalence to Kryptonite.



I don't under stand why she slashed it with the scissors though...
Also Snail-chan has one heck of a throw!

I like how the snail is looking more "snail" like. I wonder what the inspiration is to change the direction from left to right in the traveling sequences? As a westerner it looks super weird to watch someone go from right to left. IIRC "Snailchan Adventure" went from left to right. I enjoyed it. Great song, and visuals.
