After the large-scale Russian invasion of February 24, the world has discovered Ukraine as an important agricultural exporter and as a naval country - two facts that are closely connected. The ongoing Russian blockade of Ukrainian seaports suffocates the Ukrainian economy, but also directly contributes to the major looming food crisis. The blockade has heavily influenced the work of smaller ports, remaining free and trying to deal with the increased flow of goods - watch Ukraine In Flames #116 to untangle the complexity of this crisis.
