Jeff Darlington joins SportsCenter to report that Minnesota Vikings rookie QB J.J. McCarthy sustained a knee injury in Saturday's preseason game vs. the Las Vegas Raiders. McCarthy will undergo surgery to determine the extent of the injury.

The vikings are screwed this season. His return date isn't for a while and if he comes back even in week 5 (probably not realistic) and they lose those games. How are you going to come back from starting 0-5, 1-4. But it sounds more like 6-9 months if surgery is involved. I can't believe Kirk Cousins was injured last year and now this.
