I don’t want a BORN dentist… I want an EDUCATED dentist! From an accredited dentistry school, and licensed in the state that I reside in. Please people use common sense!

I completely understand that poor woman trying to yank them out. I had such a bad tooth infection once (found out it was rotting my jaw) that I legit had pliers ready to pull it out cause it was 2am and no dentist was open. And that was after taking so much ibuprofen and Tylenol I was throwing up. Ended up costing me $20k to fix everything

Someone didn’t understand the Bear Question.
For it to even come close and be a comparison at all, the Dentist is the bear. With a bear, there are 2 endings and you KNOW them b/c it’s a bear doing bear things. Like a dentist either does their job or something happens. The man can do even WORSE than a bear, just b/c they WANT to, and that’s WAY more terrifying…like a veneer tech. Oh maybe theres a CHANCE you get a good deal on decent “veneers” but it’s much more risky and the odds aren’t in your favor AND the consequences are WILDLY unpredictable.

That would be slightly more accurate, but even then it’s a stretch. Maybe just leave the Bear question out of things since you kinda just told on yourself for not understanding it.

5:58 yeah man, but the thing about the “bear or man” question is the worst thing a bear can do to a woman is kill her and a shocking number of men were imagining letting women be violently killed because they got their feelings hurt. Its about how, stats wise, women have significantly more to fear from running into a man in in an isolated area than a grizzly. It’s, by its nature, more about the state of gender relations than anything about how you personally think a bear or man would act.

I didn’t really like the parallel you drew to the bear in the woods question. Even if statistically speaking being in the woods with a man is probably way safer, enough people would still choose the bear because of personal or anecdotal experiences that left them traumatized. So it’s not an illogical decision after all, because it’s such a personal one.
IMO that’s different from wanting to save money on medical procedures. But still there you should also consider how much society values appearance and your smile is crucial for that. So lots of pressure there too.

As someone who has had extensive dental and orthodontic procedures 1500-10K are frighteningly LOW prices. That would be a huge red flag. Also if they don’t take insurance. Another red flag. I’m about to have to shell out another 4k. Ugh. I’ve put at least 2 of my dentists kids thru college. I’ve been going to him for 22 years.

Atozy i watch your videos all the time and i usually agree with your takes, however the "would you rather be in the woods with a bear or a man" question is not for men. Women would rather be in the woods with a bear because at least you would know how a bear would react, with men you could never know what their true intentions are in the middle of the woods all alone with a women. Most women choose the bear mostly because they would rather get mauled by a bear then experience what a man could do to them because that's just how women were taught to survive, and for good reason as there's been plenty of cases were a women had crossed paths with a man in the middle of the woods and they were either never found again or has trauma of men for the rest of their lives or even back at home where there multiple cases of men doing the most horrendous things to women especially women they knew as colleagues who had no idea that they were capable of such things until it was to late or a complete stranger who thought that he had the right to do whatever he wanted to women, where as with a bear there's many cases or people getting mauled by a bear or left alone.

Now this is not to say that "all men should be held accountable for these men's actions" since there is definitely cases of women doing the same to men, it's just to say that women for the longest haven't been shown many reasons to trust a man in the woods over a bear because at least you know the intentions of a bear.
