Such a great scene, they wanted to put each other's proverbial churros in their mouths so badly.

It was unscripted yes, but not really improvised by the actors. Mike and Josh confirmed that the churro scene was “definitely a Luca thing.” Luca’s other films are full of sexually charged food. He didn’t write the script for Challengers, so it makes sense that this scene wasn’t in the original script. So while Josh might have been hungry enough to eat Mike’s churro unprompted (lol), the composition of the scene is all Luca.

I did notice that he actually ate it. Usually I notice cut scenes where the actors spit out the food because they eat so much in the scripted eating scene. So it explains why it looked and felt so real. It was

Exactly what I was thinking! The last actor being insanely good at an eating sequence that I thought was Brad Pitt. Josh and Mike are so good 😭

Also, churros are originally from my country and there, the word churro is a euphemism for your manly bits, so these scene is literally and metaphorically about phalluses 😂😂😂
