Nick Triantafillou is back with your AWS news! This week, we look at announcements coming out of the AWS Storage Day virtual event. We get a storage server to run ONTAP filesystems in the cloud with Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP, and Amazon Elastic Filesystem intelligent tiering to automatically optimize storage costs. Also, Amazon S3 Multi-Region Access Points launches, based on AWS Global Accelerator, you’ll get faster data set performance when replicated across multiple AWS regions.
