Competition policy is an important lever that can increase Australia’s productivity and living standards, and which addresses current and future economic challenges.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is at the fore of Australia’s national competition policy. It promotes competition, innovation and fair trade in markets and in doing so delivers benefits to consumers, businesses and the community.

CEDA is pleased to welcome back the Chairman of the ACCC to deliver his first public address for 2021 and to detail:
A review of the ACCC’s activities in 2020;
The challenges facing the national competition and consumer regulator; and
The priorities for the ACCC in 2021.

CEDA -- the Committee for Economic Development of Australia -- is a respected independent national organisation with an engaged cross-sector membership.
