Weirdly enough, the fact that women come back and have more children actually proves that it’s more painful. (I know it sounds crazy)

When you experience and unbearable pain, at a certain level your brain deems it too painful to remember and will protect your mental health by not letting you remember it. This is the same as one of the protective factors of PTSD

That is the ONLY acceptable argument for borth not being as painful, but it must always be a joke. Birth is only something women are willing to repeat thanks to the body making them forget over time. At least, that's my understanding. I still don't understand those who want 5+ kids.
