@AMD #streaming #twitch #creator

G'day everyone! In this video I am going to take you through my streaming setup in 2021 and demonstrate to you which AMD CPU I believe is the best for streaming in 2021.

I will be comparing the following AMD CPUs whilst playing COD Warzone at 1440p and also at the same time capturing 4k footage from my DSLR camera and then outputting to Twitch at 1080p 60fps using SLOBS @NVIDIAGeForce 2070s and the awesome NVENC encoder.

I think personally that maybe the 5800x is not getting the love it deserves but it is actually a really solid choice for those of you who are wanting to get into streaming a bit more but I am always open to hear your suggestions.

If you have any questions about this video then please drop them in the comments section!

Thanks for the info.. but we need comparison using X264 encoder medium/slow and not nvenc encoder.

Throwing my build together this weekend with the 5800x this video just made me feel so much better about it!! 🎉

Thought this was dedicated streaming over Software X264. NVENC decoder doesn't do anything for CPU since its rendered on GPU, i use NVENC for streaming on an OLD I5-3570K.

1:42 typo 5800 is 8c /16t not 12c / 16t haha

I think putting Nvenc in the title would of been better as some will come here to see how the CPU will cope with streaming and gaming, really with Nvenc the CPU isn't streaming the GPU is doing most of the work.

The 5800x is $250 cheaper than the 5900x in my country so I picked it up and I am very glad I did thanks for the video.

I think you should clarify in the title you were going to use the GPU for encoding your stream because it sounded like you were going to be using the CPU which is what I came here for. I mean I think you still made good content, but as for what I said in another comment I think you should be more careful with video titles because this is the first video of yours I've watched, and at first I got the impression that you don't know the difference between software / hardware encoding. I'm not trying to be mean or rude, but I just hope people don't get turned off by miscommunication and think that you're not knowledgeable because you did a very good presentation with good information, but it was not the information I thought you were going to present based off the title.

Just saw the video a bit late, not a fan of AMD but the results are surprisingly good, good video, good effort, big thumbs up 👍

I still think that Ryzen 5 3600 needs to be on this list compared with Ryzen 5 2600. Something about 3600 is special in terms of performance.

What graphic setting were you streaming Warzone on?

I was expecting x264 because of the comparison of CPUs...

i just came here for the results. why does it take 5 out of 8 minutes for me to get to it

Criticism: because you're using NVENC, you're not comparing streaming performance with the different CPUs, but rather the raw gaming performance, because the CPUs aren't being utilized for streaming at all.
