Force Combat: Star Wars Fighting Game Guide: How To Find & Unlock Secret Battles!

I created a prototype of a modern Star Wars fighting game - In this guide I'll go into how to find and unlock the secret battles hidden in the current version of the game including the Luke Skywalker versus Princess Leia training battle from The Rise Of Skywalker and a duel against Darth Talon!

Fan made game with Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Rey, Kylo Ren, Ahsoka Tano, The Seventh Sister, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker, Count Dooku, Satele Shan, Darth Malgus, Yoda, General Grievous, Princess Leia Organa, Mara Jade, Kyle Katarn, Galen Marek, The Mandalorian, Moff Gideon, Mace Windu and Asajj Ventress.

Great stuff! To answer your question, the planet that Luke and Leia trained on is Ajan Kloss, the same planet that the Resistance base is located on in TROS.

I have some ideas for Mortal Kombat-inspired stages. Keep in mind that I try to give at least 2 alternatives so you have a choice and that I won't corner you into thinking "there is only one option". And it definitely does not mean "make them all" either; unless you really want to and have nothing better to do. It can also inspire you to think of better alternative for some of the stages.

- Living Forest (could be cool if the trees/plants are interactable, i.e. can grab a player if he stays in place for too long, or do flat damage if the player moves through it, e.g. player jumps into vines):
- Bimmisaari ("Heir to the Empire" book) - Asaari trees move their branches (just mentioned in the book). This is probably the easiest and fastest option.
- Mother Jungle, Ithor ("Bait" short story, "Galaxy of Fear: Spore" book) - some carnivorous trees/plants: Hangman's tree (Vesuvague tree???), Johinuu tree, Alleth, Arool.
- Haruun Kal ("Shatterpoint" book) - somewhat similar to Ithor, but the plants/wildlife is different. Also the stage could be near a Korunai camp.
- Gardulla's pleasure Gardens (Episode I Adventures 5-8)

- The Pit:
- Lessu, Ryloth (The Clone Wars S01 E21 "Liberty on Ryloth") - plasma bridge in front of the capital Lessu. If the time runs out, the bridge will be turned off and both fighters will drop to their doom.
- ISD "Sovereign", over Mustafar (Rebels S01 Finale) - the bridge above the burning reactor where Ezra, Kanan and the Inquisitor fought. If the time runs out the ISD explodes killing both fighters.
- Pretty much any other bridge could do (Teth from The Clone Wars movie, LiMerge Building in The Works on Coruscant (TCW S06E10), Sundari on Mandalore (from any of the battles in TCW), Yerbana (TCW S07 E09), etc.), but the 2 options I suggested I think are some of the better/more interesting choices.

- Dead Pool (Acid Pool):
- Artus Prime (Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast) - you can combine it with Meteor Storm stage, since beside the Acid river, there were meteorites as well. You can either use them as background or as area denial mechanic.
- Vjun (Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy) - there are some acid lakes/rivers and you can use acid rain that does small amount of damage unless you're under a roof.

- Subway:
- Coruscant (Tartakovsky's Clone Wars series Chapter 24) - this is probably the closest to the original MK stage.
- Umbara (The Old Republic MMO - Crisis on Umbara) - either on the train station or the train itself.
- Quarzite (The Clone Wars S04 E20 "Bounty") - either on the subtram station or the subtram itself.

- Yin-Yang Island:
- Mortis (The Clone Wars S03 E15 "Overlords") - day/night cycle (changes avery X seconds).
- Hologram Fun World ("Galaxy of Fear: The Nightmare Machine" book) - Anywhere room (2-3 stages will alternate).

Disclaimer: I haven't played your game since my HDD is full; I just watched some Youtube videos. Also I haven't played Mortal Kombat in a very long time (like nearly 20 years). And my experience with fighting games is limited. Lastly, not all sources I have seen/read, for example "Galaxy of Fear" books. So take my ideas with some salt - I might be getting some things wrong.

It's definitely coming along great, only things I have to say are not to get caught up in adding new characters and fan requests. Ironing out and polishing the gameplay first and foremost should be the main concern, then come around to having more characters and things to do later. That way you don't burnout or end up overexerting yourself.

Not only that, but it'll also leave you with an overall better product, which is a win-win both for the players, and you. That's really it, keep up the good work.

I thought of this game as an idea for so long and i never knew you had already made this. They need to make Star Wars games like you have made this one. I’m a huge fan of Mortal Kombat and I love Star Wars so much more than MK. Gonna download this when I get the chance.

I think this is epic. Would it be possible to add characters like The Grand Inquisitor and Pre Vizsla in the game?

You should also see if you can add more voicelines to the characters that alternate so you don’t get the same voice line spam, another nice touch would be to add blaster characters, I would honestly love to fund a game like this if I had the money, I’ve been wanting a game like this for so long and if it was similar to Mk11 in terms of mechanics and features it would be a godsend.

I hate unlocking stuff in fighting games.

I did always download saves during the PS2/PS3 later eras.

I’m really looking forward to the next update. Can’t wait for those 4 question marks at the bottom to be unlockable. I’ve been thinking and am going to guess the 4 will be Palpatine, Revan, Qui Gon and Savage Opress. ( I know Qui Gon and palpatine are in the game but they aren’t playable in the character selection yet). So I’ll just wait and see if I’ve hopefully got any of these correct! Also really loving the game man, it’s honestly amazing
