I liked Fitzpatrick playin for the fins, he had a certain energy that year and Flores/ the team made some bad decisions

Just loved Fitz, he should have stayed the starter that year, 1 or 2 more wins....we make playoffs. I back Tua 100% now....FIX THE DAM O-LINE we will make some noise !

If Flores had a clue, he would have (a) got an offensive coordinator who was committed to designing the offense around Tua, and (b) held on to Fitzpatrick to be our longerm backup and Tua's mentor, we would have probably made the playoffs last year (with Fitz instead of Brissett), and would have probably been able to pull out 1 or 2 more wins since Tua's injury. Then again, this offensive line would have just got him concussed, so...

Fitz is the man I really do like him when he played for the Jets I thought that dude played real hard and I was really glad when Miami signed him awesome guy he had a lot of heart And yes they should’ve left him in there so he could’ve made least the playoffs again awesome guy

Fitz in 2020 put forth the best under pressure stats as a QB ever… and he was under pressure a lot… but he just understood the offense better and I’ll agree that MIA had a better chance of winning SOME of those games and mainly because Gailey was calling games for Tua as if his son was sitting on the bench and he wanted Tua to stink it up so his son could play.

Loved Fitz in the games I wish it could have been a year of learning for Tua because Fitzdid give us the best chance that season but Flo has an ego and it’s his way no matter what

FWIW: IMO, Flo wanted Herbert, who he coached against in the Senior Bowl (where Herbert won the MVP) but the braindead draft trust wanted Tua, and Flo was miffed. Sadly, he took it out on Tua. Also, as stated earlier, there was no OC to coach him up

Fitzpatrick was the perfect guy for Tua to sit behind and learn how to be a nfl quarterback when he first got drafted on his rookie year from Miami dolphin. Brian knew that, so they trade him and leave Tua to figure it out on his own...he was vulnerable and easy target that's the reason why he was getting hurt.
I guess that was the plan to him out of the nfl. Well he's black and this time. I think he knows now how to be a NFL quarterback.
