Now I’ve only watched the show, but if I’m being honest, the third season confused me because I didn’t see any evidence that Soulja Boy was nearly as evil as Homelander, but in the end they decided Soulja Boy was the problem they had to take care of instead of using him to kill Homelander like originally planned. I thought it was dumb.

why r the comments so insecure omg. They praise high about being brave and not being a "snowflake" yet they get triggered by one simple word called toxic masculinity.

What he said is right, men should be able to feel and express their emotions- i dont get why theres so much of an issue over that. I think most people have the same trauma as soldier boy where theyve been taught from a young age that crying is weak and "for pussies" but instead of breaking free from the generational trauma pushed onto them by society, they instead rage about it and push it onto others 😭 so much for breaking the system, we will never be free if this keeps up

He "is" from an era of toxic masculinity. You ever seen movies from the 60s, 70s or 80s? In some of them they treat women like trash. And it's because how they treated women outside of movies.
But nowadays we're in an era where we treat men like trash, so I can't say anything's fixed.

I like the character for his honesty. I think Soldier Boy is an asshole but truthful and he does seem to have standards. Jensen has made him comical and given Soldier Boy a human quality. If it wasn’t for his portrayal, the character would be hideous. I sometimes forget that Mr. Ackles has a warm human quality. I didn’t like Dean and I couldn’t see why Castiel had a relationship with him at all. I had to study Dean and see what qualities Dean had that were likable. I found Dean was worthy of pity. He was brave and true. He seemed crippled and incapable of expressing his kinder emotions. So once you did see the injured 🤕 brave soul you could like him. But he was someone you thanked and got away from. Castiel was right in asking him “don’t you think you’re worthy of saving?” I thought Dean was toxic towards Castiel, he only sorrowed when Castile died. He kept the raincoat on one occasion. So Jensen was good at portraying this injured person. I think Mr. Ackles will do the same for “Soldier Boy”, maybe the character will become more human.

Soldier Boy is based on Captain America. I’m not sure but I think most people think he died. He actually recovered and walked away. You have to have read that comic to know so. Maybe Soldier Boy will walk away. The character is a twisted version of Captain America.

If you take out the profanity and abrupt vulgarity, soldier boy is pretty decent as a superhero.
