Patrick and Bree officially joined our family through Residential Treatment/Foster Care Adoption on November 27, 2019. They are a biological sibling group that had spent years living in a Residential Treatment Facility. Their agency was about to split them up for separate adoptions. One day I was at a meeting with our agency when I learned about them being split apart. We advocated to keep them together and be their Forever Family.

(We get asked about their other siblings some times, but in many cases like this we do not always have the power to keep every sibling together due to different circumstances. It’s complicated, and The System is messed up, but that’s a story for a different day. We’re just thankful they allowed us the privilege of keeping these 2 together because they are inseparable!)

We never loved TGATB, I tried it multiple times and it’s just not enough for us. We like how thorough Abeka is, but I understand if it’s not for everyone. We also love CLE and Rod And Staff is excellent!
