Excellent instructional video. Very clear and straightforward. Taking that bracket free made things much easier. After watching the video, I was able to change out the regulator and hose in about 10 minutes. After the leak check, I ignited my burners and got full flame again. My issue was my grill was stuck on low flame. I watched many videos and did much troubleshooting until I decided my regulator was probably the issue and purchased a replacement. Thanks!

Replaced my regulator today. The tip about freeing up the bracket where the fittings connect was a BIG help

This was helpful, as were some of the comments. Had to use a vice grip to hold one piece and then finally got enough torque to unscrew the regulator. Removing the back cabinet was super helpful. Unfortunately, this was not the issue. Doing the same thing it was before I got the new regulator. Back to the drawing board. UGH.

Fabulous video. Helped me figure out how to replace the regulator and hose without breaking something else! Thank you.

For those who cant loosen the connection (like myself) pour a kettle of boiling water over the bolt. Thermal expansion will help loosen it. I had tried wd40 and it didnt help but pouring boiling water over it for like a minute, then using 2 wrenches worked like a breeze! You dont need a new grill just physics!

My weber has a side burner so unscrewing the bracket didn't give much play. I removed the rear panel (4 screws) and had full easy access to the connector.

What if you can’t unscrew the tube? It feels super tight….

It’s no way in the world these connectors should be torque down as much as they are, I’m a big fella and I caught hell getting that nut loose, thanks for the to unhinge the bracket. Weber 335

Why didn't you put any thread sealant on your connections? The regulators even come with a packet of thread sealant.

Are you sure your propane tank isn't empty?

disappointed that this didn't treat the crappy old Weber valves. did like the tip on disconnecting the hose bracket. 8/29/20: I guess the Weber valves are what are called, quick-connect valves. Took me a while to learn how to connect one.

My regular ass failed. Would not seal. Lost 2 tanks of gas before I found the issue. If you got an older grill with the same regular ass. Use that. It's TRUE the newer style regs are junk. Mine was type 698. Total fail even the replacement.
