How to Recreate Your Favorite Pinterest Outfits From Your Closet

Recreating Spring Pinterest outfits - without buying anything new!

I know I’m not the only one who is constantly looking for new outfits to wear. I’m not having a low buy year myself, but I’m pretty low buy as is, so I often go to Pinterest to get new ideas of how I can style the items I already own. In this video, I searched for some Pinterest outfits, some spring outfits, and created this video to show you show you can put together some Pinterest inspired outfits as well. For me, the key is really the details. When recreating a Pinterest fit it’s not just about the exact pieces, but more so about how these items are put together. Remember I always say that the key to a great outfit is the styling! I hope you like this video!

71, still pursuing a lifelong love of fashion and being inspired by ideas to update my wardrobe - a "work in progress" 'cos perfection can be an elusive goal. Am still grappling with ways to style a thrifted denim jacket, the shape of which looks amazing but not strictly a colour that works with my warmer skin tone. I really appreciate these recreating Pinterest videos. I’m trying not to buy clothes and wear what is in my closet so I can really define my style. It reminds me of the great @ Alyssa Beltempo and how she shops her closet with inspiration photos. 🤗 But her style is much more masculine and menswear inspired so while I enjoy seeing how she uses the process of identifying inspiration, I don’t find it very applicable or relatable for myself.

You nailed every single look! I went all heart eyes with that pencil skirt in the last one. I also enjoyed seeing you style one item a couple ways (cashmere sweater dress).

I LOVE take inspiration from pinterest... and sometimes I do have basically all the elements in the picture, so I don't need to be SO creative... but somehow I look always a mess and not put together at all 😭

So that's how the trench coats look so good in photos, they are a size too small so they look good open. Sneaky!!! I prefer to actually have my trench fit or be a tad roomy for real clothes under it and couldn't figure out why it looked so different.
