Peppermint Place was a children's television series hosted by Jerry Haynes, known on TV as Mr. Peppermint. Haynes first portrayed Mr. Peppermint in 1961, and hosted his very own show, and in 1975 renamed it to Peppermint's Place where it continued until 1996. I never seen the show, I never heard of it until it aired on a local Chicago station in the late 90s when I was visiting relatives, and Haynes is the father of Gibby Haynes who is the lead singer of The Butthole Surfers. Wow!
