BBC documentary row: BJP hits back at Congress, says Indira Gandhi too, had put a ban on the BBC

The IT department survey in BBC offices triggered a political slugfest between the BJP and the opposition. While accusing the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) of unleashing 'venomous' reporting against India. The saffron party also took a jibe at the opposition. Party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that BBC is a 'most corrupt corporation' whose propaganda and the Congress' agenda go together. He said that Congress should remember that former prime minister Indira Gandhi too, had put a ban on the BBC.
