The earliest versions of the bible stated nuts, not pistachio nuts.
The change to "pistachio nuts" in Genesis 43:11 is found in more recent translations of the Bible that aim to be more specific about the types of nuts mentioned. The translation seeks to clarify the original Hebrew terms based on contemporary understanding of ancient flora.
I thought Jerry was nuts, but, yes, recent versions of the bible refer to them as pistachio nuts, when they are indeed seeds, not nuts. Fair call!😁👍
