how do you solve specific gravity if there is no density water and density substance in the given?

At 600 gals by-weekly of NaOCI I would like to makes sure I am getting what I pay for. How can I find the Specific Gravity on the trade % of NcOCI. the range would be from 1% to 15%. will the temp rating on the hydrometer play a roll on my reading?
