In this tyFlow tutorial, I'll show you how to create your first landscape environment with the new Terrain operators. Complete with a tyflow liquid simulation, snow layer affected by the sun, realistic colors, and we'll also make the terrain seamlessly loopable and render it with Vray 6 in 3Ds Max.

I have a doubt. I can´t extract the material because the Terrain mesh operator doesn´t have the ¨Assign Ty Color Textmap¨. Instead of that only has ¨Extract mesh¨ and ¨Setup vertex color texmap¨. I tried with those but is not working. What should I do?

Hi there. With the new update, "assign TyTerrainColor texmap" it's gone, and only shows "setup vertex color texmap". When i pick up, only show a mat with vertex color in it. How can i get the texture now? Thanks

It is worth having tyflow pro license for this update. Even though free version has all the same capabilities without gpu acceleration it is not real time process when you are adjusting terrain nodes. It is also good to show support to this developer

You're good at teaching! This is a nice update, and looks more straightforward than World Creator, and it's right inside Max. The liquid and snow melting/ tiling options are huge. I have a cpl questions. Is there a sculpting option? Can the tiles be randomized so it doesn't look so uniform?

Will check to see if you have other tyflow terrain tuts. Appreciated

THX. Would be nice to see it on real case terrains - like around a house. Can it work with non-rectangular surfaces ?
