God gave me this scripture " those that sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy" a day before my son got in trouble with the law. Its 2 years now and each day gets better! I am believing!

But let us not forget why Jehovah allowed the Israelites to become captured by the Babylonians because the Israelites strayed away from the true worship of Jehovah so please make sure that your worship is pure and that you are learning accurate Knowledge from the Bible this was a great illustration. Everything in the Bible was recorded in the Bible for improving and discipline and to benefit our lives in some way I appreciate the way he showed the application of how we can apply this scripture into our lives

Great Teachings! Psalm 126 helps in seasons of sorrow. The beautiful plant is distracting. The backdrop can stand alone.

Are you quite sure that the Babylonian captivity was "the most popular" ? I would have thought it was the worst ! But I have sung my own version of this psalm (search Somerset psalm) and I agree that which captivities they were doesn't really matter. I had written that before reading your interesting discourse. .
