TL;DR I am running a research experiment on fanboys. My opinion is: *get whatever phone you like, because it’ll be your phone, not a stranger’s from YouTube comments*

I’ve been running a research experiment and I’ve been collecting data across many tech channels about the fanboys in the comments. I’ve interacted with some in ways that I know could trigger certain responses, such as saying Apple is trash on an Apple-focused channel. I also used different opinions in different conversations to track the level of engagement and agreement with each.

If this sounds like broken English, I’m basically analyzing how much more vocal, if any, are one side’s fanboys, as well as factually checking relevant statements. It will also collect the overall sentiment to Apple vs Android for each tech channels.

This started recently and will continue throughout sometime in 2025. I swap between multiple different accounts so that the existence of this experiment is not revealed. I will publish my results on the Internet.

Anyways, my sentiment towards the topic is: Get whatever you like. Not what others tell you. It’s your phone, not other’s.

I disagree. As far as the US is concerned, more people use Apple products. The reason you see the Android "fanboys" more vocal in the comments is because the "Apple Cult" can't handle or give any substantial form of criticism. (Btw, there's a difference between the Apple cult crowd and the average Apple user). I'm not lumping you into that group!

I know someone that glazes apple and has an iPhone X an says all samusungs overheat. He doesn’t know his friend had a phone from budget Samsung from 5. Years ago. High end Samsungs and high end iPhones are both good

Apple: great software, not top notch hardware tho, and kinda costy. But the camera isnt bad so i guess its good

It depends on your needs. If you want something with the best possible performance, get android

If you care about operating systems more, get apple


If you are more used to android as an OS, you dont have to switch, just dont be a dickhead to other people who like something different

I use Android myself and I have to agree, they be everywhere yapping about Android being better, even in videos where it's Google vs Samsung they think it's Samsung vs iPhone. And all they do is yap constantly with no real reason or logic alot of the times.

And they're so much and that, there really should be more Apple fanboys to argue against them tbh, would prob be more fair.
