In this paper author is introducing new deep learning algorithm called Fast Underwater Image Enhancement also known as FUnIE-GAN (Generative Adversial Network) to improve visual perception in poor quality images. GAN is the algorithm which will train on images and then can be used to generate new images and same concept author is applying on under water images where FUnIE algorithm get trained on poor and high quality images and then generate a model. This model can be applied on new test images to improve its quality.
