@PIXXO 3D, once we scale our object to where we want it to be, is there a way to adjust the grid proportionately so that the object doesn't look like it's floating in a huge sea?

my p[problem is that the numbers displayed are so small that even when I press my face against the screen I can't see the numbers.

Mesh display isn't there. You have it located under the shader option, but the shader is the last thing that appears for me.

how do i change size of a line though? Like is there a tab that tells you the size of a line and you can change it?

I am following your steps and when I change the units from meters to centimeters it changes from e.g 2m's to 200cm's. It doesn't just change from 2m's to 2cm's. Anyone know why that would be? (I'm using the latest version of 2.8)

Dude you should explane what that unit scale value does!? when it's changed it change all dimensions of model..bit why, how, how should it be set? yours is on 1

This is very helpful, one of the things I've been curious about is how to measure things in blender, since that's one of my biggest walls in map making, but now it should be fairly simple to get measurements right.

You start without telling us what version of Blender, and how we set up our screen to look like yours. Mine literally looks nothing like yours, so I can't even begin to follow you.
