Maximum Acceleration for a Box on a Truck Friction Problem

Maximum acceleration for a box on a truck is easy to solve. First you draw a free body diagram. Then you consider the net force acting on the box, which has to be friction from the truck bed. This video goes over a common example of solving for the force of friction acting on something in the back of a truck so that it is not sliding or slipping.

These are common on the AP Physics test and it is useful to be able to consider the perspective of the box and what force it would need to feel in order to accelerate forward.

if the acceleration is not constant, how we assumed that acceleration is constant? if we think like acceleration is varies by time what will change? thkns for video

As long as the material of the box and bed of the truck stays constant - the weight won't change anything? Seems so counterintuitive. Like, you would think that a heavy/dense object would stay in the back of more reliably than a light object.
