Thanks for that informative review. Many people aren't aware that these things even exist, You explained why you need one and how you use it. You explained everything a person would need to know about how they are configured and even the materials used in a "popsocket" in a short video. I like it. Cheers!

place another one in the lower adjacent corner of the kindle. you can then slip all your fingers between the two sockets very comfortably. with two pop sockets you can adjust them to where the device does lay flat. Thats just what works for me. I like having two.

Seems to keep you from inadvertently touching the touchscreen and starting an app when you try to hold your phone of tablet I see. I may need to get me a couple of these.

If you want to move the popsocket, DON'T put a credit card under it then start pulling it off. You rinse it under warm water from your tap, let it air dry for about 10mins, then reapply to the area you want

FYI you can orient the kindle's screen in landscape mode. just look along the tabs in display settings.
I like it that way better. I can use the bigger bezel to hold on to the device and I imagine a popsocket on the middle-lower-half (when viewed from normal orientation) could work as a stand as well. I'll probably get one and try it out myself. I really cant stand holding a big flat surface. If anyone else has a better solution. lemme know ;)

Stumbled upon your video and we really appreciate it. We just bought a brand new Kindle Paperwhite and found it almost impossible to use. Maybe we're a little slow, but this is was going to be our first foray into ebooks from the library. After going through the entire setup and loading an ebook to test it, we were ready to get rid of it after about 10 minutes. Why? Well there was no comfortable way to hold the thing without our thumb being on the actual "page." Because it's a brand new Kindle model, it has no page buttons and everything is on the touch screen. Bezels are too small to grip even when in landscape mode. We kept accidentally advancing to new pages or even other chapters while we were simply trying to read. Yes it's a first world problem, but for a device that is marketed at about $130, what a major disappointment. Maybe we should have known since we're used to having folio cases for our cell phones. Those give you something to hold on to instead of the actual phone. Anyway your solution looks like it'll work so we're looking forward to getting that taken care of in the next couple of days. PS We considered buying a case for it but that would increase the weight and make it difficult to hold with one hand when reading in bed. Thanks for showing a very simple and inexpensive solution.
