SPEIDEL 30L fermentor revew

This is the SPEIDEL 30L the one complaint I have seen is no level marks well I took the time and did that for you at 5gal 6 and 7. Very impressive fermentor! I have added a second Speidel to my brew house this is now my favorite one.

If you want a fermentor that will give you years of use this is the one. Racking using the valve is a breeze you have the ability to rotate the valve to get above the trub no problems. Any questions feel free to give some comments down below. Cheers

I think your markings may be off. 30L converts to 7.9 gallons. Your 7-gallon mark appears to be only 2/3 up the side of the fermenter. Shouldn't it be near the top? I don't own one of these, so not trying to insult, just curious how big they really are.

This fermenter will actually hold 9.5 gallons this is how Speidel builds them with extra head space in the fermenter no blow off needed with 5 & 6 gallon batches. To get my markings I took the empty fermenter and added one gallon of water made my mark till I got to 5 -6 & 7 gallon marks. for size In the video I place a 6 gallon carboy next to the Speidel so to get a idea of the size. I really like this fermenter it is not much bigger then a regular 6 gallon carboy its nice and thick easy to carry and best part the valve on the bottom for racking!! Cheers
