I will always remember this game, specifically Dempsey's goal. I was 10 years old and was at a bar with my dad, and my friend and his dad. I remember the ball being played to Dempsey, and he jumps over it and gets it under control. He shoots and it goes in off of the far post, and the whole place goes ballistic. I think about this moment all the time, it's such an amazing memory

I remember watching this then. I’m Ethiopian and I supported Ghana at that match but Brooks goal made me happy because of the emotion he showed. Donovan goal against Algeria in 2010 was also very special.

This was the first World Cup I watched as a football fan, I'm so happy my country at least made the knockout round, and we even played very well against Portugal, Germany, and even Belgium (Tim Howard is the GOAT)

Such a great game! I remember when we broke the Ghanaian curse lol. Such a great feeling! I got a lotta love for Ghana though, they play fair and tough.

That Ghanaian side was pretty scary. They had a lot of talent and individual players capable of moments of brilliance. Their midfield was much stronger than the US and I remember it like it was yesterday. Great game overall.

What I love about the World Cup is is creates rivalries like USA/Ghana, but in the end I feel like as long as both teams play fair both countries gain more respect for each other! Ghana you are incredible team! Can’t wait to play again in 2022!
