I came across Andy a few times, being part of the cosplay/con scene on the East Coast and had mutual acquaintances. I had heard about his past from a few friends who knew him but I never brought it up. He wasn't particularly interesting by any means, just came across as a slightly pretentious SJW type. When he added me on Facebook that's when I noticed his constant posts about needing money for his transition surgeries, posted progressive opinions to get validation within his circle, and also reminding people of his past trauma. I don't recall him saying anything positive to me, but would only comment to disagree or lecture me about something that would trigger him. Wasn't long before me and a few friends picked up on his self-righteous attitude and we'd ignore him. I deleted him shortly afterwards and that was that.

Not sure how these young women (Btw all adult, educated white women deeply engaged in fandoms) became so vulnerable to allow this little guy to manipulate them the way he did, but it certainly gives validity to an old saying I heard once, about how "certain bait will attract a certain type of fish". Just use a little common sense when dealing with little snakes such as this.

this sounds like the final fantasy house on a larger scale to be honest.

This person put a whole lot of effort into being a mediocre scammer. I was expecting them to have run off with millions in fantasy money. Great vid!!
