In this video I review Mint Mobile. The company offers unlimited talk, text, and data plans backed by the T-mobile nationwide network starting at just $15 a month. With a price this low, just how good is it? I review the network coverage, speed, and overall value.

I've had Mint for several years now. The switch was seamless and have never had even one problem. The bill is always a simple low flat amount every three months for me. I took a trip from Arlington TX to Hot Springs AR and went thru some really rural areas along the way. Service was 100%.

Two months in on Mint, and am extremely impressed. My internet speeds have peaked at 600mb. Had Verizon prepaid and never went above 160mb on 5G. Just got my 2nd month no bill usage and it has told me my average data use for the two months. I do stream music alot and average about 5 1/2 gigs. So when I renew for 12 months I will go to the 15gig plan. Great review Tyler.

I have Mint Mobile, and it works fine in Houston. I have the unlimited 12 month plan. I just pay $360 plus taxes. I had AT&T, but I got tired of paying $80+ every month.

Had Mint for past 8 months and no problem as I live in Southern, NJ. Great phone range and strength. Ordered a 12 month plan for 15 Gigs a month for 20 bucks a month. No physical stores, but great customer service, and SIM cards with removal/installer tool are gotten in two day mail. They were very patient getting me off my Cricket Wireless which had installed a six number PIN without telling me.
Now, for new Users, Mint gives you unlimited for 15 bucks a month. You can’t beat that ever. Fyi, I have a iPhone XR 2018, but will go to Apple for a new phone, never a refurb—too many problems with that type of phone.
As Antennae Hombre said, you need to order a 12 month plan to lock in a low rate. Do it. Their rates and services are the best.
Mint is eating Verizon’s and AT&T’s lunch.

I live in Vegas. I’ve had mint 4 years. No issues. But if you exceed your data cap it won’t work. I mean it’s completely unusable. You will have to pay for extra. 1 Gig 10 bucks. 3 Gigs 20 bucks. Other than that. No complaints.

I switched from Boost to MINT. I like that Mint gives you your cellphone as a hot spot for free. AND i needed 5G for a particular use I have once a month. Since I was switching providers that were on the same underlying network, there was no difference in service. But I had a lower bill. I bought all unlocked phones for this. I will continue to buy unlocked phones.

I cannot tell you how much I LOVE Mint Mobile! I drove from NC to OK without issues using Google Maps on it. I’ve had it for two years now and it’s amazing. Even in the USVI it was super fast! Paying $30 a month for the coverage I get across the country is a bargain. So grateful to leave Verizon!

I've switched from Verizon to Consumer Cellular went from $112 to $50 unlimited....$30 sounds good if they hang around for a while I may switch...Ohio seems to have excellent coverage and I don't travel that much.

I've had Mint for almost 3 years now and love it. The Ryan Reynolds Christmas card is always fun every year. I also like going into Sam's Club where the AT&T guys always ask me what carrier I have. They always look kind of dejected when I tell them Mint because they know I've got them beat on price and coverage.

Been a Mint user for over 5 years now (during May they sent me a 5 Year Anniversary Email). Anyway I pay the yearly rate ($180 a year plus tax/fees). To be frank It's been the cheapest no hassle phone provider I've dealt with this includes Ultra, Cricket, Virgin, Alltel/Verizon (remember Alltel?), & T-Mobile prepaid amongst others. Service in my area is good though my phone (a Ulefone Armor X5) is missing one band that T-Mobile uses, and of course that is the one that is used most in the rural areas of Arkansas (go fig). Well I am upgrading my phone soon anyway to one that has all the bands (at least in the 4G network). As for internet service I mostly use WiFi rather than the cell phone service so the 5GB high speed a month is not a issue for me. I also like just paying the phone bill once a year anyway. Mint has been the longest provider that I've stuck with. As long as they can keep the cheap rate & no hassle service I'll stick with them.

Thanks Tyler. I was thinking of going with Mint. I will try them out. Being that I am now retired I need to cut as many corners as I can. 😀

I've been a AT&T customer for years and got tired of their high bill. I just switched to Mint today, so far so good. Will try it for the three months if not happy will switch to AT&T prepaid 12 month plan for $300. Bf has the AT&T prepaid plan, we drove all the way to Grand Canyon with no issues.

I agree . I left Verizon four years ago and I am glad I did. Mint mobile is great. I live in a rural area.

I have had Mint for just under a year. Coverage is still spotty in some rural areas of Wisconsin. My husband's Verizon phone usually has a signal when mine doesn't but he's paying $50 a month compared to my $20. Fingers crossed that the T-Mobile network keeps expanding in Wisconsin.

Have to agree. I have an unlocked Motorola phone that I used with Mint for the three + three month period a year ago. After six months at $15 and decent coverage. I opted for their one year $15/month offer. Pretty happy with that so far. My Moto Stylus cost me a little over $200 and has 5G wireless capability so I have the Mint 5G card installed.

Good stuff! I encourage anyone to give this a try and save some money. Originally from Pa. now living under Canada so not in a prime reception metropolitan area.

I had T Mobile, and switched to Mint after trying Tello, which also uses the T Mobile network. The experience with Mint has been much better than Tello and no different from T Mobile. I don't use much data, so $15/mo for 5 GB is more than I can use and the best deal going even when you add taxes and the 911 fee. I'm glad to hear that you didn't experience unusual network slowdown in crowded places.
