Update: Megawheels did send us the parts we asked for, but they are the same parts that are already on the scooter! So there was no fix for the folding mechanism problems that we had

I think your review is too harsh. This scooter is $250 brand new, and for that price, the quality is solid. I’m not expecting luxury, but my S10 has been a reliable workhorse for two years. It gets a 15-mile range, hits 16 mph, and is perfect for short trips. It’s been great for me. 🤷

If the locking mechanism fails do what I did when I was in the military. Improvise! Use some ducking tape around the locking lever.

Would love to see you guys try out Boosted Boards like their Ranger series. I've got one that was given to me by a friend and it's spectacular! Could totally replace a car in some environments/situations

The scooter lives to it's name in my opinion. My brother got one for his birthday a few days ago (early present) and he says it's absolutely amazing. I weigh quite a lot and it manages to carry 50 pounds more than the max load.

I got this scooter for Christmas and I apsolotly love it 10/10 would recommend. Work great up hill and down hill. Going up hill it will take it a minute to get to speed but once it does it is great

Some of the problems you mentioned were not on my recent purchase so they fixed them. Also, the S10 7.5 Amp was under $200 this week so the prices keep coming down.

Had mine for about 2 months now. Hit the TINIEST of bumps, and now it drifts to the right, and I have to keep my handles turned left and lean really far to even ATTEMPT to ride straight. No visible signs of damage, but the difference in riding before versus after that tiny bump is unmistakable. Not a good impression for my first electric scooter
