Bootcamp? Lmao, I didn't expect that from you.

IMHO, we do computational chemistry, ML, iOS, Android, complex math etc ... a CS degree is more valuable over your lifetime.

Next semester i'll write my Bachelorthesis. Looking back, I can say that we learned a lot, but not really how to program, even though we had projects as exams. So i would say, that you "need" both if you will start a career as a dev

I did both. School didn't teach me all i needed for my SPECIFIC language / tech stack. The bootcamp was more focused / specific. HOWEVER, id be very careful when it comes to bootcamps, theyre not all good especially if you have to pay/ sign 2 yr contract to do one

Is it a good choice for a person who has just graduated from high school to enter a bootcamp rather than college because I don't work well with books and I'm more of a person who learns from practical teaching.

Because I have this subject which I did in high-school called Computer Applications Technology (CAT). It is divided into two sections.
Theory and Practical

In the practical half, we didn't need to study, only practice. I excelled at that, I was the highest in the grade with practical, I even got 116/150 for the final exam

However, on the theory side, I didn't do good, that requires you to read and study. I got 52/150, which pulled me to get to 56% for my final mark

If it was only practical, I would have gotten 77%, but theory pulled me back
University requires you to read and study

However bootcamp, you just need to do the work directly which gets you job ready if I'm not mistaken

What’s the cost of the bootcamp in Indian currency?

does a bootcamp provide some form of credible certificate to help you get a job? or it's the same as self learning?

You can learn to code anywhere. You can't learn to be a professional developer in a bootcamp. That's where you have an education for. That's an overlooked essential skill imo. Especially considering the average programmer's social skills. For everyone, don't just blindly follow this guy's opinion. Do your research.

Would you mind speaking slowly, please, because English is not my native language?
