Privacy issues are becoming more and more ridiculous by the day for some companies. Today, I used Google maps to drive for some shopping, only to realise when I got there...that I hadn't enabled my location services!

They don't even give you the usual warning, they just do it, it's like they don't care anymore because they know that we know... :'( can't wait for Linux phones (I can't use GrapheneOS on mine)

Where should I start when choosing a VPN, I have seen so many videos saying "do you really need one?" Or they are always choosing a sponsor, well because its a sponsor, any suggestions. I use proton mail, which I enjoy. Any info would help. Thanks.
