Since I started covering the Zero series, I definitely wanted to cover this track.

I grew up on Genesis so maybe I'm biased but this sounds better than any other version I've heard including the original. Nice job.

Way back I personally attempted to do a Genesis cover of this track, and to say the least, it wasn't nearly as good as this. :)
The stuff you manage to make the YM2612 do is amazing.

I like your lead work. Reminds me of Kaufman's Contra 4 OST. One thing that could help get that Genesis feel would be reducing the global PCM of the orch hits. So it gets that lo-fi, scratchy feel. But still, a good listen.
