The two catch up to Thrax in the uvula and rescue Leah. Thrax uses pollen to induce Frank to sneeze, riding the 'wind' out of the mouth. Drix then shoots Ozzy out of the mouth after Thrax, and they land on Shane's cornea. As they fight, they fall onto one of Shane's false eyelashes, dislodging it. Ozzy tricks Thrax into getting his hand embedded in the lash, and escapes just as the lash falls into a beaker of rubbing alcohol, where Thrax dissolves.

When I first saw this movie as a kid I completely missed the fact that Thrax fell into rubbing alcohol, so I had just assumed that water was his fatal weakness since his whole thing was fire and heat.

As a nurse, this film is difficult to watch without picking apart, like over-the-counter medications have no capacity to fight viruses, viruses are many times smaller than cells and they don't attack cells directly or even have a means of active locomotion. The list goes on forever. But then again, I get that a film like this would be boring as heck if it were accurate, so I guess ya just gotta enjoy it for what it is.
