My uncle's used to go smelt fishing at Lake Michigan in Milwaukee Wisconsin. That was back in the 1970's, today there is no more smelt fish to catch. Those were the good ole days for me. These fish look a lot like sardines, but they had a really good taste. These fish were so tasty, better than Sardines.
