WORLD RECORD NUMBER 3!!!

Today, I set a 6"36 on my first run. Then, I got a 6"34 7 hours later. Around 2 minutes later, I got a 6"28. At this point, I started to see my potential for WR here, so I kept on playing. 8 minutes later, I set a 6"24, and after that, 13 minutes later, I got a 6"22. I was now "02 from the now former WR – which is 6"20 by RichardTaro – and I just kept grinding it down, restarting over and over again. 11 minutes after I set my 6"22, I had improved to a 6"21. I was beginning to get frustrated at how little I was improving. And finally, after about 20 minutes of grinding since my 6"21, an absolute MIRACLE happened. A 6"18. In the span of 1 hour, I had improved from a 6"36 to a 6"18. I had cut a collective 180 milliseconds from my first PR and moved myself from 9th place to 1st place. I love this game.

Now, about the run. RichardTaro did not implement a side-attack chain at the beginning, so I took advantage of this by performing a 7 side-attack chain on the first straightaway, which is definitely faster. In my attempts, I have performed chains of more and 7, but 7 is definitely fast enough and I don't think many more are necessary. Speaking of which, my side-attack chain was excellent.

I think my first turn was really nicely done. The section right afterwards was still very good, but I wasn't hugging the fence on all of them, but I was still taking each one really smoothly. I added some side-attacks in this section too; I added a left side-attack right before the 2nd last turn, an extra right side-attack exiting the 2nd last turn, and a left side-attack into the finish line. The last turn was beautiful.

Former WR: 6"20 by RichardTaro, set on 1/17/09 (-"02 versus my PR).

Set and recorded LIVE by me on 11/5/20.
