The Watercraft Journal welcomes back Greenhulk Garage's Greg Gaddis and Jet Blast's Billy Duplessis to recap this past weekend's Fall Mudbug! With well over 100 skis and many, many persons in attendance, this was easily the most populated Fall event. We'll discuss what worked, what didn't and what Greenhulk may or may not change for the multiple events next year.

Definitely have the ride leader and sweeper in the back should have a VHF radio for breakdowns

Appreciate the video. Having never attended but really hoping to attend next year I hope you don't have to cap the event. I am happy to sign a waiver. Sad to think it's necessary but it probably is.

All the ideas yal proposed sound good and very practical. I definitely hope to attend one next year. When will you set the dates?

Poll people and break out groups on those who want to rides extreme trails, those that want a easy ride then hang out at sand bar, so you stagger the groups arriving for lunch. Also have people pitch in $10 a head so there are snacks at the sandbar while lunch is cooking. Have some giveaways for the drags. Stock class and modified.

There would have been a lot more people from Michigan at Mudbug if it wasn't for the hurricane. I didn't go because of the hurricane see you next year at the Mudbug event hopefully there won't be a hurricane.

Do the liability online before the event if you decided to go there route

Since there's no real motivation to make a video we should up the stakes a little and bring money or parts into play .

Limit the groups to 20ish. Even if there are 3 groups running the same route 20min apart. Meet up at the sandbar. The hang out, and race guys stay there. Then leave out for small groups, fast trails or exploring. I’m with kevin I want to ride. If we don’t burn a tank plus daily it’s kind of a bust to me. I love the idea of a girls ride, so the wife can go put along and let me go haul down some trails alone

Is there a charity or lodging / tourist org there that would be interested in “organizing” it with Greg’s guidance. We attend a few events one that’s hosted by the local ymca and then one a veterans charity host. They both charge low fees that are a donation and waivers.
