30 years of failing to sing this song well and it never occurred to me to use my chest voice in the high parts. Tried it twice and really felt it. This song always gives me goosebumps when I sing it, I really feel the angst that Eddie must have felt when he wrote it. We all have that young love that hurt us and so that just pours out into the emotion of the song.

Last night watched a video by Rick Beato, breaking down this song and after watching that, it opened my eyes as too how many layers pearl jam plays with! Never knew it had a keyboard! He broke it down and my God it opened a new appreciation to a song I keep dear to me heart!
