I do taekwondo and I'm kind of thankful. Not because there's a low risk of injury (there isn't) but because we do various exercises that use the _whole_ body, not just the legs, or the arms, or the torso. We do a lot of grueling cardio and such to improve stamina and strength, but also simple stretches and warm ups help prevent injuries, too.

I tore my ACL last week. I figure skate Monday through Saturday and rest on Sundays. I train from
7:15-8:45 am then start school at 9:00 until I'm done because I'm homeschooled so the days are very flexible for me. I'm back on the ice at 2:30-4:30 pm and then I have an off ice jump class from 4:45-5:30 pm. Next I eat supper and have a flexibility class from 6:30-7:15 pm and am back on the ice from 7:30-8:30 pm. Lastly, I have yoga from 8:45- 9:25 pm and I live about 10 min from the rink so I usually get a good amount of sleep.

I tore my ACL, sprained mi MCL, and bruised my bone, when I was 10 from playing soccer. I was the youngest on my team. Now I am 11
