My new toy - Nikkor 85mm f/1.4 ais (a discussion about short reach telephoto lenses)

As an automotive photographer I really like having a variety of focal lengths to choose from when on a job. My needs can vary from needing a far reaching 300mm lens to an ultra wide 15mm lens. However there is a ton of my work that lives in-between these focal lengths. I just picked this lens to see how much I like the shallow depth of field from a 1.4 vs the 1.8s that I have used before. You made the right choice!
I have the same lens, for four months ive ordered 30 ai-s and ai lens from japan off ebay that are in mint condition. I use them on a Sony A7Riii converted to infrared with a novoflex adapter - they are excellent!!!

Great lens actually... But all these lens "reviews", subscribe if you want to see stuff, but not one picture... So, what was that video actually about? Someone bought a new lens? 🙈
