When I met my husband, he was making just a little over $20, 000 a year. Our first date was at Burger King; I ordered an original chicken sandwich. I helped pay off the balance on his books at his college that was keeping him from going back to school. He was able to go back to school, earn his degree, and 5 years later, he said I could quit my job.
