coming back to this documentary three years later and yeah it’s hard to hear how shot Phil’s voice is but listen to those synths! the low resonate drone on Mama, the clarity of the voice pads on Land of Confusion, the buzzy lead in The Cinema Show, even the pads on Throwing It All Away have this like warm rich french horn feeling that they didn’t have before
