This is the difference between buying a fully finished game and buying the game to help finish it I'm tired of waiting 6 months to a year for game to be even somewhat playable

The fact that the jabba's dlc is buyable from day one is proof that the mission is not an extra, it's just a portion of the base game removed from the standard edition.

It's called brand loyalty. Loyalty to a company is achieved through loyalty to the customer.

Because Fromsoft is known for making quality games and DLC that rivals the base game. It doesn’t feel like cut out content, it feels like what DLC should feel like; an expansion of the base game.

In my youth, we used to call "expansion packs" those big "DLCs". They're expensive because they add the equivalent of a third of the original game.
FromSoftware is old school and that's a good thing.

For anyone curious, the digital only version of Elden Ring bundled with the DLC costs $80 USD, which is a good deal to say the least.

I love how fromsoftware is represented in this short. When Jacob says that he can't justify spending $40 on dlc, fromsoftware accepts it and doesnt complain.
