Take it from me I am a telecom engineer, bandwidth is measured in Hz always (even in wired connections). However, some people refer to the maximum data rate (which is measured in bit/s) as bandwidth, which is technically inaccurate. In my opinion, the maximum data rate (which is again measured in bit/s) should be always referred to as channel capacity.
