That was exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately, I'm getting the pop-up error "<Command.com / C.... system cannot find the path specified". I have run IExpress as an administrator and still didn't work. Does anybody have any idea how to solve it? Thanks.

Everything is fine until i execute the .exe file. I checked "run as administrator" in properties but when i run it it says:
"Error creating process <COmmand.com/c Reason: The system cannot find the file specified."

It tries to start command.com which is no longer used by modern OS

@Brandon Noah: For some reason I cannot answer directly to your comment.
What save file? The names you give to the batch file or the final exe file doesn't matter. When do you encounter that error? Please explain...

Please remember when trying this method you must launch IExpress as administrator. If you do not you will get an error stating the following: Unable to open the repor file

An alternative method is just to make a shortcut to the original script, place the shortcut on the desktop, then right-click on the shortcut, click Properties, click the Advanced button under the Shortcut tab, then check the checkbox that says to run it as administrator.

36 processes? Man, old Windows used to be so lightweight!

I am having the same error, where the system can't find the specified file. I tried deleting mine, which was named IXP000.TMP, but I couldn't. I would click okay in the dialogue box created from the executable, and one I did the folder IXP000 would delete itself. I tried installed numerous times all using the methods you said, even running iexpress as admin. I have admin rights so that's not the issue. I can't figure out how to get this to work properly.

I got lost when you got to "choose filename" !!! You click Browse then your mouse pointer goes out of frame then magically you get a long path

But you cannot see what the hell you There is no path to my bat file on the desktop anymore when I get to this point!!! So I don't know what the hell you clicked?
